| Afro Rock & Psychedelia In 1970s Nigeria, pt 2
|
(Soundway SNDWLP23B UK-10 EX 700:-)
This 2LP set showcases a wave of guitar driven and psychedelic groups that sprung up in Nigeria during the early 1970s.
Featuring 19 electrifying and funk laden grooves, this is the sound of a generation attempting to pick up the pieces after the devastation of the Nigerian civil war. Brimming with youthful exuberance, fuzzed out guitar and cosmic organ vibes, this music much to the psychedelic sounds of Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane and James Brown.

| Rock Generation, vol 1 - 10
|
(Byg 529.701/710 Fra-7? EX 700:-)
For collectors of the early Rock/R&B/Blues scene, the BYG Rock Generation Series is one of the "holy grails" - extremely hard to find and the core of any serious collection.
The series documents some of the rarest and important music recorded in the early to mid 1960s in England. Some have been re-issued over the years but some have not, making this set all the more desireable.
Complete 10 LP set; includes The Animals, The Yardbirds, Graham Bond, Steampacket, Soft Machine a.o.
